Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Vernia Burchem, with whom he resided; Mrs. Helen Mishter (Mishler) of South Bend, and Mrs. Genevieve Harrigan of Pomona, Calif; six sons, Carl of Garrett, Ind; Paul of Lakeville, Ind; Chester of R.R.1, Jasonville; Gilbert of South Bend; Lewis of Odessa, Tex; and Elmer Sinders of Seattle, Wash; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Kittle of Clay City and Mrs. Lina Rhoderick of Terre Haute; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body was brought to the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home here.
