Surnames: Fogle, Sinders, Hawkins Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xh.2ADE/1645 Message Board Post: Obituary of Elizabeth (Sinders) Fogle published in the Terre Haute Tribune, Sunday, 27 June 1926, page 2: BRAZIL, Ind., June 26 - Mrs. Elizabeth Fogle, widow of the late Levi Fogle, died at 11 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Hawkins, one mile west of Centerpoint, after a protracted illness of general debility at the age of 86 years, two months and 23 days old. Mrs. Fogle and her late husband were pioneer residents of Sugar Ridge township and had lived in the vicinity of Centerpoint for more than half a century. The deceased is survived by three sons and a daughter, John Fogle, of Coal City; Henry Fogle, of Centerpoint; George Fogle (my grandfather); of Linton; and Mrs. Albert Hawkins, of near Centerpoint. She is also survived by a brother, Henry Sinders of Jasonville. The deceased leaves many friends to mourn her death. Funeral services will be held at the U.B. church at Centerpoint at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment in Centerpoint cemetery.
