    1. Re: [INCLAY] MOORE, Wm & James... related?
    2. These people may be completely unrelated to your Moores. The name Drucilla Moore is in my family her son was in Clay County in the same time frame, so you should at least know about them in order NOT to confuse them with you own line. That being said - there was a James McCullough Jr. in Clay County starting in 1842. He came there from Ripley County, IN. He had family already in Clay County, starting from 1832. He was born in KY. His mother's maiden name was Druscilla Moore. She was the daughter of Simeon and Mary Moore. Probably married in 1783 or 1784. She died ca 1803 in Mercer or Montgomery County. His father, James Mc Sr., died in KY. Their youngest child was James Jr. James Jr.'s second wife in Clay County was Sarah Yocum. In the 1850 Clay County Census, he is shown at being 54. Researchers of his line, however, believe him to have been born in 1801. He had a daughter named Drusilla who married a Hudson/Hutson Brackney in 1850 or 1851. So - while there are many coincidences between the two lines, there certainly seems to be enough to make them separate. At least with this set of facts, you can avoid tracking the wrong families. Alan McCullough
