(Abraham) Niswonger was my great-grandmothers (Eva Ann) brother. He was the 2nd child of 9 children born to John Newton (Neuton) Niswonger and Emaline Wilson Niswonger. The children in order are 1. Eva Ann (Married David Carlen)2. Abram F. (married Sarah and later Laura) 3. Carrie Bell (Married Harvy Joy McKinnell) 4. Sarah Emma 5. George E. 6. John Newell (went by Newell) 7. William 8. Mary Nettie 9. Winfield Lamont (Winnie) Abram was a minister and I have found the following children on federal census: Dale T. (I have a picture of HER) Minnie R. (both on 1900 census Harrison township, Clay county Indiana Wendal shows up on the 1910 census 3-Wd Greenville township, Bond county, Illinois. Abram's grandparents are: John Niswonger and Sarah from Logan County Ohio. I have quite a bit of information but most is from the federal census: 1840 through 1930. I do have a few pictures of A.F. as a young man as well as pictures of his parents. I'm hap! py to share these with whomever is interested.
