from the Columbus Dispatch 7/20/2005 William H."Bill"mitchell,age 80, of Rynoldsburg,Ohio and formerly of Johnstown ,departed this life on July 18,2005 at Mt Carmel East Hospital of Columbus,after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years ,Elsa (Murray)Mitchell and his daughter,Shelly Mitchell both of the home,as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Bill was born August 10,1924 in New Philadelphia,Ohio to William I. and Mary Alice (mushrush) Mitchell,and was a 1942 graduate of the New Philadelphia High school.--He was an avid amateur genealogist for more than 40 years.
