I have a William Kavaugh (sp?) Payne - born 17 may 1807 Shelby Co, KY, died 14 Mar 1883 Owen Co, IN (son of Jonathon Payne) - as married into one of my family branches. He was wed 2 Nov 1826 Owen Co, IN to Amma Beem. They had 1 son and 7 daughters. Amma was the sister of my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. This sounds like a match for your Jonathon Payne family. Her father was and Andrew Biggs. Their daughter Elizabeth Richey married Isaac Stark whose parents were Abraham Stark and Sarah Stark, cousins who are buried in Clay County.
