    3. I never knew Charles was married and I hadn't bothered looking! I called my father, his nephew, and he remembered hearing some rumor to that affect. He can recall meeting Lola once at her home in Bloomington. Charles was the youngest of two brothers. He was born in Indiana in March 1888 probably in Clay County to William Morton Grayson and Ida Ella Elkins. His brother, Cecil, married May Modesitt of Cory. Charles died 2 October 1930 in South Dakota. I believe he died as a result of his drinking. He may be buried in an unmarked grave in Ashboro by his parents. I have pictures of him as a child, none as an adult. I haven't spent much time researching this family, but I would be happy to share what I have. 1. Re: Staunton
    2. Staunton is located west of Brazil and East of Seelyville (vigo co) and little south of Cloverland (clay/vigo) but it is in CLAY co. west of "Turner"-- has a post office. the only two Lawrence's I saw inthe Posey Township cemetery book were Chas. H died 9/4/1948 CP/PS (carpenter/ cloverland in posey twp) there is a large cemetery Summit Lawn in posey township which is probably where your group is buried because there isn't a listing for that cemetery YET -- one is to be published soon. the listing can be purchased as they are printed from the Clay Co Genealogy Society. and George D b. 1880 d. 1954 buried in Rhule cemetery..
