Starting at Clay City, take SR59 (State Road) south to SR 246, west to CR 139S (County Road) SR 246 takes and south then west jog at Brily Chapel, follow in to where it makes the west jog and shortly lafter going west turn south on CR 139S to the juction of l141S and the Friendly Grove Church and Cemetery, just to the south of the junction. It will be on the west side of the road. Hope this helps and good luck in yhour findings.

Posted on: Clay County, In Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/In/Clay?read=1018 Surname: ------------------------- Friendly Grove Church and Cemetery is located south and west of Clay City. It is North of 79W and west of 139S at the junction of 139S and 141S.
Take SR 59 and SR 246 south out of Clay City. About a mile south at Martz take 246 to right. About 4 miles west 246 make a hard left turn(church on corner). About a half mile south 246 turns to right, shortly after this there is a gravel road going south, sign pointing down this road says to Friendly Grove Church. Posted on: Clay County, In Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/In/Clay?read=1016 Surname: Wolf ------------------------- This query relates to Clay County, Indiana. I wish to locate the descendants of Louis and Fannie (Miller) Wolf. According to DBH, Louis was born in 1868 and Fannie in 1871 and they had four children which grew to adulthood and had children: Roscoe, Clarence, Ertice (married Emil Laughlin), and Oscar. DBH is this genealogy: Descendants of Barbara Hochstedler and Christian Stutzman, by Harvey Hochstedler, published first in 1938 and reprinted in 1998 by Gospel Bookstore, P.O. Box 320, Berlin, OH 44610. DBH has a footnote on page 254 which refers to an old family Bible of Fannie's Miller ancestry as having been, at that time, in the possession of Mrs. Fannie Wolf. I wish to see the records in that Bible or a photocopy thereof. My questions: Where can contact be made with the descendants of Fannie (Miller) Wolf? Where is the Bible referred to in DBH? My phone: 740-857-1831. Postal address: 9933 Rosedale M.C. Rd., Irwin, OH 43029 Thank you for your consideration.
