I am trying to locate a birth certificate of a Ruth Sturgeon born December 2, 1847 on a farm near Lake Cicott in Cass County. Her father was Taylor Sturgeon and her mother was Eunice - last name unknown. According to the Cass County Circuit Court Clerk they have no records of birth prior to 1882.
