    1. [INCASS] US Railroad Retirement Board
    2. Is the same as given earlier. Some additional information that was given to me by the person who sent this to me was: Her ancestor applied for retirement benefits even though his work history was sparatic and she received a monthly summary of his employment from about 1906 through 1958, information about his 3 marriages, and some non rr related work history. She was able to track him across the US and even have a possible "alias" to check out. Web site for the Railroad Retirement Board...check out regional office addresses to find one closest to your ancestor's location and then write a snail mail and they will check for his employee records. The research fee is non refundable. US Railroad Retirement Board 844 North Rush St. Chicago, Illinois 60611-2092 My area of research is before 1935, and I wrote to the Railroad in which my ancestor was employed. They had no records prior to 1935, the reason being is that is when Social Security started, and that is when they started to keep records. So I am hoping to find out through the Retirement Board, hopefully more info. Hope this helps. Otherwise, I would write to the Historical Society and see what records they have on your ancestor.
