My sister and I visited Cass Co. and Logansport in June. We found the most pleasant and helpful people there. The folks at Mt. Hope Cemetery went out of their way to try and help us find our family. We also met lovely people at the Clerks office in the Courthouse, and the Genealogical Soc/ Museum, and the Health Department (she even called the state for us). The only time we were a little put off was at the library and everything is under lock and key so you have to ask a librarian for each individual piece of reference you want to look at. We then went to the Howard Co. Library and found the ladies there more than willing to help us with every question. There is a lot of Cass County information there.
