Charlotte The railroad came to Logansport area about 1853/04. Check with the Cass County Historical Society, located about 1240 Market Street, Logansport, Indiana for their exact address and postal number. They have a lot of information on the early days and events in Cass County. There is also a railroad group, The Iron Horse Museum which is also located on Market Street near third Street, but I have never been there. Good Luck Thomas. ----- Original Message ----- From: Flock's <flocks4@junct.com> To: <INCASS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 06, 2000 10:20 PM Subject: [INCASS] Railroads > Hi, > Could any one tell me when the railroad was built.
