For those of you interested in cemetery restoration, here is an opportunity to develop your skills and help preserve history. Saturday August 19, we will be meeting from at Sprinkle cemetery located at 1175 S 800 E; Jackson Twp., Cass County, Indiana - about 1 1/2 miles north and 1 1/2 miles west of Galveston. We plan to work from 8 a.m. - ?. Come dressed to work, bring shovels, bring a friend, and bring some energy. If you are hesitant to work on the gravestones, there is also an small iron fence that needs to be painted. I have the paint and brush for that and other supplies for cleaning and repair, so bring yourself and a friend.
