Hello lister's, I am interested in anyone doig research on a family from Logansport by the name of Bechtel. My ggrandparents were born in Logansport. His name was Joseph Frank Bechtel b Feb. 27, 1889 died Oct. 1972 in Niles, Mi. His parents were Aloi Bechtel b 1859 & Noeleu Noass b 1865. He was b in Mothern, Germany & she was b in Alsace Lorraine, Germany. Joseph Frank Bechtel's wife was Catherine Fettig b Nov. 25, 1893 in LOgansport, In. also d in Niles,MI. Dod was Aug. 1972. I remember my grandma telling me that grandpa died of a broken heart. He couldn't live with out her. If you know anything about the Bechtel (or Fettig's) please get in touch with me.
