    3. It is possible there is a record in the Cass County Recorder's office. This was and still is not mandatory and a large percentage do not record cemetery plots they purchase. My husband and I purchased plots several years ago and have never recorded them. If it were mandatory, there might be a lot better cemetery records, too.
