    3. Jeanne I don't know what city or county that you live in, but it must have a central library, ask at the reference desk for the Catholic Church Directory. It covers all the states, towns in the U.S. Also lists schools, colleges, hospitals and other things connected with the Catholic Church. It gives the year a parish was founded, this information will most likely hekp you to find the answer you are looking for.
