Fisher Funeral Chapel www.fisherfuneralchapel.com of Logansport is producing a video of pictures of Cass County WWII Veterans. Local vets and/or their survivors who have photographs from the WWII era are asked to individually label the pictures and include as much info as possible especially the name of the veteran, branch of service and place served. Photos will be returned once the video is made and copies of the video will be available for purchase with proceeds going to the WWII Memorial being built on the Mall in Washington DC. Copies of the video will be given to area libraries and schools for use in their Veteran's Day programs. Copies will be made of the pictures and given to the Cass County Historical Society for possible use in their new "History of Cass County" book that they are beginning to work on. The video will premiere at the "Night at the USO" fund raiser dance to be held Sept. 28th at the American Legion Post 60, 828 Burlington Ave., Logansport. Tickets $10 single $15 couple available at WSAL, Fisher's, Amelio's and the Legion. All money raised will go to the WWII Memorial.
