    2. My sister and I visited Cass Co. and Logansport in June. We found the most pleasant and helpful people there. The folks at Mt. Hope Cemetery went out of their way to try and help us find our family. We also met lovely people at the Clerks office in the Courthouse, and the Genealogical Soc/ Museum, and the Health Department (she even called the state for us). The only time we were a little put off was at the library and everything is under lock and key so you have to ask a librarian for each individual piece of reference you want to look at. We then went to the Howard Co. Library and found the ladies there more than willing to help us with every question. There is a lot of Cass County information there. They even looked information up for us!. All in all - it was a most enjoyable trip. Harriet Reinheimer Stairs

    2. I don't know anything specific about the individual you are looking for, but St. Vincent Cemetery is now part of Mt. Hope cemetery. I have many ancestors buried in St. Vincent also. It is the oldest part of the cemetery, and it's beautiful! If you call them, they are extremely helpful in finding the person you are looking for. They have a computer database that has all the names. I spoke with a woman named Dee, who would be more than happy to help you. To find the phone number, go the Cass Co. Gen Web page, under cemeteries. This would be a great option for you! Jennifer jblair100@aol.com
