We are planning to meet at Sprinkle Cemetery at 12:30 Saturday to work on restoration. We have 23 markers that were poulticed 3 weeks ago and will be removing the poultice and cleaning the stones. There are still many to be reset and repaired, too. So if you are wanting to learn / get some experience, come join us! Debby http://www.rootsweb.com/~inmiami/index.html - Miami Co. Hi; I have much information and photos back to the turn of the century to share with anyone interested in the Clinton/Aura Niblick family from their marriage to the present. I am searching for any Logansport or South Bend information on the Cramers, Schriders, and Wootens. Have limited photos on these also. Anything in reguards to the Niblock/Niblick`s of the early 1800`s would be of tremendous help in my research. As with most of you my parents told me little about my ancestors. You could be looking for St. Joseph Church. This was the German Church. It is still in Logansport, but has had a name change, and I believe it is now called All Saints. I was there about a year ago, and was not able to get any information. The secretary told us that only the Pastor could give info, and did not like genealogist. She would not give me anything, even though I knew dates, etc. The court house is very cooperative. Good Luck.
Hi, I wrote to the All Saints Parish in January, to a Mike Staublin, Business Manager. I was looking for information at a St. Joseph Church around 1862-1908. The earliest record he found was in 1880. The information I wanted to know, if it possibly told were my ancestor had came from, before Logansport. And with this one question I ask him and the dates I gave him. He was able to find allot of information. Make sure you only ask one question. It can be too much at one time. He found some children that I did not know their names because they died at a young age. I would give it a try and write to the church. All Saints Parish 111 E Market Street Logansport In 46947 Charlotte E. Flock WAlbertjr@aol.com wrote: > You could be looking for St. Joseph Church. The church you are looking for is St. Vincent's. Through the LDS(Latter Day Saints) Family Search Centers in your area or online, you can order microfilm of all the church records. They have been a goldmine for me! Good Luck in your research. Pat Healey

It was issued on 17 October 1859 by Noah S. LaRose, Clerk. the certificate states that they were married by Geo A. Hamilton, a Roman Cath Priest on the 17th day of october, 1859. Does anyone know what Catholic Churches there were in the area at that time? does anyone know if there are additional records available -- those with names of parents, witnesses, place of birth, etc.? Does anyone know of Father George A. Hamilton? Family lore states that the Morrissey family lived in Logansport, IN., but the only other Morrissey marriages I could find on the data base (the WPA transcriptions) were in the 1890s and, if related, are probably nephews. I also know that in the 1860 census Patrick and Catharine Morrissey Quinlan were living in Harrison Township, Pulaski county IN. Thank you for your help. Jeanne I don't know what city or county that you live in, but it must have a central library, ask at the reference desk for the Catholic Church Directory. It covers all the states, towns in the U.S. Also lists schools, colleges, hospitals and other things connected with the Catholic Church. It gives the year a parish was founded, this information will most likely hekp you to find the answer you are looking for. In closing there only one Catholic Church, they just have parishes all over the country. Thomas ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeanne D. For those of you living in the general vicinity of Galveston/Kokomo. I'd like to encourage you to join us Saturday, Sept 23 at Sprinkle Cemetery. We are planning to concentrate on poulticing stones. This is not heavy work, but it needs to be done. If you can ice a cake, you can apply poultice. Of course I won't get upset if anyone wants to bring a shovel and help straighten stones. If it rains, we will cancel. If you are interested in helping, but can't come that weekend or would like to make a monetary donation, please email me privately. Hi Paula, It's a special battery pack that comes with the camera. You can by an extra one as an accessory and always have a fresh battery ready to go. I does last about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I shut mine off when I am not going to take a photo for a few minutes and that saves battery life. I wouldn't trade it for another, but I might consider the spare battery if I was using it on a trip or something.
