Hi All: Been kind of quiet lately, so thought I would post. I have found a death certificate for a William Sandifer from Brown County, IN. William died on April 7, 1895 (age 25 - b. ca 1870) in Brown County. and is buried at ????. It is signed by Nathan Browning in Needmore, IN My grandmother's first husband was a William Sandifer, and I believe this to be his death certificate. She was Rosie (Rosa) Thompson, daughter (b. Jan 1875) of William Thompson and Hester Ann David. William and Rosie were married in Nov 1893 in Brown Co. , and had one child, Ira Sandifer b.May 1894. Does anyone have any information on this Sandifer family. Can anyone tell me where William Sandifer may be buried? Rosa married my grandfather Pleasant "Sonny" Robertson sometime in 1895, probably Monroe Co. Any information on the Sandifer, or even the Thompson family, would be greatly appreciated.
