The mother of Thomas AYERS was Cynthia Ann MITCHENOR, b. Feb 1852, Jackson County, IN, the daughter of Allen MITCHENOR, b between 1823-1825, in NC and d Salt Creek Township, Jackson County, IN. Allen MITCHENOR was the son of John MITCHENOR, B BETWEEN 1774-1777, in NC; and d after 1860 in Salt Creek Twp, Jackson County, IN.
