Posted on: Brown County, IN Obituaries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/In/BrownObits/33 Surname: ALLENDER ------------------------- Dec.22,1937 Illness Fatal to Aged Woman Mrs. Elizabeth Allender of Nashville Dies of Pneumonia Mrs.Elizabet Allender,81,wife of Thomas Allender died last night at the home of their son, Cecil Allender in Nashville.Death was due to heart disease,and pneumonia.Funeral services will be held at the Georgetown Church,conducted by the Rev.Cecil Deckard.Mrs. Allender spent most of life in Brown County,and was well known there.She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.Surviving besides the husband and son are there other sons, Omer,Bert,and Dan,all of Nashville,and three daughters, Mrs. Charles Ford,of Franklin, Mrs.Clarence Allison of Petersville, and Mrs.Ed Voland of Nashville,25 grandchildren,31 great grand children,and one g.g.grandchild Two of the sons,Cecil and Omer,who were injured in an automobile collision on Road 46 N of the city some time ago,was recently moved to their homes from the county hospital.
