    1. James related to Mary PROSSER ?
    2. David, According to the Robert Martyr Parsley Family Study No. 172 published by the Brown Co. Genealogy Society, Mary Prosser (b: ca 1849, IN; d: Jan. 7, 1926 Bridgeport, IN) was probably the daugther of James Prosser and Margaret Jane Kelly. Mary married Robert Martyr Parsely, b: ca 1840, IN on April 2, 1866 in Brown Co., Bk.2 -267. Although I don't know anything about a Prosser/Shannon connection, the study records that she had a 11 year old daugther, Mary Ann in the 1860 hamblen twp. census. I have Brown Co. GRAY (Robert Gray, Sr.) and PARSLEY (Robert Martyr Parsley) ancestors. Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/In/Brown?read=655 Surname: PROSSER, SHANNON, GRAY ------------------------- Is James PROSSER related to Mary A. PROSSER who married William SHANNON in Brown County, 1841? William may be the older half-brother of my g2-grandfather, Robert SHANNON, who married Sarah Susan GRAY in Brown County, 1846. They may both be sons of Samuel SHANNON, whose second wife was Margaret __?__. I would like to hear from anyone who is familiar with this PROSSER family. >>
