Foley who was granted a land patent for 40 acres in Brown County on July 1, 1857.The patent states that the township is 9-N. His wife is Livonia Stearns and after William died she married David Clark. I am trying to verify if my William H. is the one who was granted the land patent or if there are two William H. Foleys. Any help would be very much appreciated.
