He was born about 1779 in N.C. and died in 1867. His first wife was Elender/Eleanor. My husband is a descendant of one of his sons, George Washington Nelson, b. Sept. 10, 1846 in Indiana, d. April 28, 1930 in Harrisburg, Illinois.
