Does it list any cemeteries for Jackson Twp? I am searching for Isaiah Bishir (er?) who lived there in the 1900 census with his brother, Jeremiah Bishir and family. I loose him after that, and was wondering since he was written up in a local White co. IN newspaper in 1884 as being sickly, if maybe he died in Brown co. Any way you can help? Thanks

Neal was my great grandfather on my mother's side. His wife Catherine Olive Baughman Neal. My mother was Olive Catherine Neal. I live in Nashville, IN (Brown County) and found a lot of the Neals lived in Brown County and found Lanam Ridge Cemetery with some Neal grave plots and very old headstones. Her father, my grandfather was Francis Arwine Neal, son of Linzey. I have just started researching and am searching for more information about them. Thank you.

Jesse Duncan and Catherine Cardwell are my 3rd great grandparents. Jesse was born 7 May 1816 in Kentucky and died 24 Apr 1879. Catherine Cardwell was born about 1820. Both were born in KY.

Mine was the Revolutionary War Soldier who died in Parke Co, IN, but having lost him during the time frame of the marriage of the younger Jesse Duncan, and not knowing the ages of the couple who married in Brown Co, I thought it might be mine. They both moved on to Douglas Co., KS. Jesse's parents were married 5/7/1809 in Shelby Co., KY. Jesse may have been named after Elizabeth Foree Duncan's Uncle, Jesse Foree, who lived next door to her father, Hezekiah Foree, in 1840 in the Trimble Co., Ky census.

Elizabeth Duncan is found in the 1830 Oldham Co., KY census and the 1850 Brown Co., IN census with Jesse and Catherine. There is an 1834 land record in Oldham Co., Ky which says she is of Johnson Co., IN. Jesse and Catherine are in the 1850,1860 and 1870 Brown Co., IN census.
