    1. Davis/McCormack
    2. Does anyone have any idea of how I can find information on a marriage between a John (?) DAVIS and (?) MacCORMACK or MacCORMICK, in late 1700s or early 1800s, possibly in Pennsylvania, New York, or New England? I know this is sketchy - it's also MY brick wall. They were parents of Marguerite (?) DAVIS who married my gggrandfather, Milton Brookins. He was born in Pennsylvania and moved as,as boy, with his father, Dr. Cyrus Brookins, to Ohio, first to Richwood and then to Millfield/Athens. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, Cookie, in Florida < [email protected] >

    1. James related to Mary PROSSER ?
    2. David, According to the Robert Martyr Parsley Family Study No. 172 published by the Brown Co. Genealogy Society, Mary Prosser (b: ca 1849, IN; d: Jan. 7, 1926 Bridgeport, IN) was probably the daugther of James Prosser and Margaret Jane Kelly. Mary married Robert Martyr Parsely, b: ca 1840, IN on April 2, 1866 in Brown Co., Bk.2 -267. Although I don't know anything about a Prosser/Shannon connection, the study records that she had a 11 year old daugther, Mary Ann in the 1860 hamblen twp. census. I have Brown Co. Anyway, I found the graves of my Gr-gr-gr Uncle Joseph G. GRIFFITT his wife and one of their children. What I didn't know was that he was a Doctor just like his father Arnold S. GRIFFITT who was born in Morgan Co. Joseph married Henrietta BROWN on 11 NOV 1888. He was born in 1869 and died in 1899. Henrietta was born in 1870 and died in 1950. Their daughter Ina was born in 1890 and died in 1904. They are buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. I also found marriage information on Arnold who after the death of his first wife married Emma TAGGART in Brown Co. on 22 JUN 1876. Now if I can only find where they are buried!!!!!
