We have an Eel Creek in Brown County in what was in Johnson Township, now Washington Township near the Lawrence, Monroe and Brown County lines but that would be quite a ways from Springville, Indiana. The cemeteries closes to Eel Creek in Brown County would be the Deckard Cemetery, the Axsom Cemetery (only known to have one grave that was later moved) and the Terrill/Terrell Cemetery. I am researching the Orr family also, my great grandmother was Mary Ann Orr. Her father was William Orr and mother Catharine Guinn. They were from the Buffalo Ny area via Quebec. Mary Ann married Jeremiah Joslin. They had 5 sons, one was my grandfather Charles who married Margaret Jane Powell. Does this sound like your Orr family? I have a little more information if so. Carol
Thanks to all, each and every one of you, of the more than 100 replies I received to my query about Genealogy Techs. I received not ONE positive reply, only negative warnings, and some rather specific notes on the perpetrator of this scam - even a copy of his indictment in Iowa for trying to run a similar scam up there. I knew there were some crooks out there but had no idea of the extent. Be very, very careful before you spend money on something that seems too good to be true - it usually is. That is where Morgantown is located. the only thing I could find was that Beryl Enos married Daniel D Murphy in Morgan county on 27 Jun 1907, source Book C-8, page 185. They listed the birthdates for Beryl as 7 Feb 1886 and for Daniel as 3 Oct 1880. You should contact the Clerk of the County to obtain a copy of the record , it may contain the parents name. Good luck. Don

Judy Garner, in a message to "Jackie" dated August 20th, had information regarding Levi Branaman. My "tree" says that Levi was married to Mary Elizabeth Hurley. Is that correct? Judy's listing says he was married to Elizabeth Henry. Please let me know what is correct. Dick Hurley --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
