Yes, Thelma, some really good research has been done on John Ferguson by Richard Oyler and published in his family history named "Ancestors (and some descendents)". I am descended from John through his son William and grandson John Henry Ferguson who migrated to Benton Co, IA about 1853. How are you connected?
