Hello, I am researching Burns, also. Can you tell me more of where your line comes? Mine is Torrence, his Father John. And THERE it stops. Many, many John Burns. There was a large family, went to all states as far as we can determine. Mine is from Virginia, part that later became Kentucky. I knew a Gordon Burns, but can't remember [just now] when he died. He was not of my Burns line, but I do know his Family and can get that info. I also am in touch with two other Burns researchers which have more info than I do. If you think I can help, let me know.
