Thanks Mickey.... looks like my Sarah "Sally" might have been a sister to him, too.... I will put that information in my Notes on Sarah until it can be proven. Hugs and many thanks, Cheryl ========Original Message======== Subj: [INBOONE-L] Witt Book Date: 3/1/03 7:38:11 AM Central Standard Time From: misemici@sbcglobal.net Reply-to: INBOONE-L@rootsweb.com To: INBOONE-L@rootsweb.com Sent from the Internet (Details) I've just thumbed through the book of Witts I received. It's from Robert Daniel Wright of Wichita, KS. If memory serves, he said he was also going to provide copies to some of the libraries, so it may be on the shelf at Lebanon, and could also possibly be in the collection of the Indiana State Library's Genealogy section. Anywho, it seems to start with Michael Witt, Jr., born in 1795 in Guilford, NC. Michael ended up in Lebanon, died in 1861, and is buried in Cedar Hill Cem., according to Robert's book. Mary B. Cason, mentioned in my earlier message this morning, was sister to Margaret Cason, who married a John D. Witt (1819-1900). John was evidently the son of Michael and Susannah Wyrick Witt. Hope this helps. Mickey Rogers ==== INBOONE Mailing List ==== This mailing list is hosted by Rootsweb. For information on how your donation can help, go to: http://www.rootsweb.com.
