Folks: I'm still looking to break through a long-standing brick wall: finding the death date and place of my grandfather, Jesse SHEETS. He was born 5 April 1876 in Zionsville, married 8 March 1915 Carrie SHAW (b. 19 December 1877; d. 22 August 1929 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Marion County). He also married abt. 1899 Leona LAYTON (b. July 1883, Indiana). The 1910 Boone County, Indiana Census enumerates Jesse in the house of his mother Nancy. It lists his occupation as "none". The 1920 Boone County, Indiana Census enumerates him in the household of Edward Caldwell and lists his given name as "Jessie", his relation as "boarder", and his occupation as "laborer". I can't find him the 1930 Census, and believe he must have died before its enumeration. Sullivan Museum has a little info on this family, and I have conflicting info that says he was--and wasn't--buried in SHEETS Cemetery. Any help would be very much appreciated. Michael Shaw
