Kay, I have collected some information about the Harmon family which might help you. I have William Alexander Harmon born 7 Jan 1826 in Marion County, Indiana married Emma Elizabeth Miller 17 Jan 1847 in Boone County, Indiana. She was born 17 Jun 1825 in Indiana. I have only one child listed which is James N. Harmon born 7 Oct 1848 in Boone County, Indiana who married Martha E. Miller born 13 Sep 1840 in Indiana. The source of this was a Submission by George M. Findley, george_findley@hotmail.com. I have the line back a couple of generations on the Harmons. I suspect Millers are related to one another.
