I would also suggest you call Mary Ann Doyle at the P.H. Sullivan Museum in Zionsville at 873-4900. They have extensive obituary files transcribed from 19th century issues of old Boone Co. newspapers including the Lebanon issues. They also have 5x8 index card files on most of the early Boone Co. residents. I think you will find her quite helpful.
