    2. Willard Anderson
    3. Just a long shot, but I have a John T. Kirk born c.1880 in Ohio. My interests lie in the Jones family that moved to Boone County with the Dye and Stoneking families in the 1830's. They came from Morgan County and left kin in the Hiramsburg area when they left. John Kirk turned up in Douglas county, Oregon area where most of the Jones family ended up settling. 1. [INBOONE-L] Porter Cemetery photo page
    2. Larry Slavens
    3. I've finally gotten around to knocking together a web page of all the stones I could find and photograph a couple Octobers ago at the Porter cemetery west of Jamestown. (Well, since I was working alone I may have accidentally skipped one, but if so it wasn't intentional.) About a three-quarters of the stones in the listing that's been around for several years are pictured. In addition, seven stones not in the original listing have been transcribed and pictured. Judging from the placement of remaining stones and sunken areas of ground, I would bet that there are additional stones that have fallen and sunk into the sod. There are many Porters buried there, of course. Some of the other surnames are Evans, McLean, Long, Burch, Bush, Couch, and Gose. The page is located at http://www.slavens.net/porter/index.htm Larry
