    1. [INBOONE-L] HAWORTH/KIRK-Sugar Creek
    2. Larry Wise
    3. I am looking for the George W Haworth family, which came from Muskingum Co OH to Boone Co IN, Sugar Creek twp in the mid-1850's. They were in Sugar Creek in the 1860 and 1870 census and after that I cannot find them so both parents may have died in the 1870's and be buried near in the area. In the 1870 census the family is listed as : Haworth,George W 47yr miller Penn Caroline 38yr OH Sarah 17 IN Elizabeth 14 IN Katie 11 IN John 8 IN Caroline 5 IN Georgina 1 IN Caroline (Kirk) Haworth (Geo's wife) is the sister of John Kirk, Isaac Kirk and Elisha E Kirk who all moved to Sugar Creek with their families in the 1860's. John Kirk and his wife Louisa (Ahle) Kirk later moved to Montgomery Co IN and lived in Sugar Creek in Montgomery Co. Do cemetery books exist for Boone Co - especially for the Sugar Creek township area? I would like to check and see if George & Caroline Haworth and some of their children area buried there. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Larry Wise Florida _________________________________________________________________ Instant message in style with MSN Messenger 6.0. 3. Mr. West, I'm researching Samuel WEST and his descendants that came to Boone and other counties in Indiana from Estill County, Kentucky. I'm also researching the family of Jonathan EVANS and wife Margaret BELL, that first came to Boone County, Indiana. I'll contact you and possibly we can share notes. 3. Ruthie, I've sent this along to some of my "Six" cousins and nothing is ringing any bells. We have scads of John Six's from OH, but no references to wife Hannah Mansfield. This may take some searching and process of elimination - do you have any siblings/children for John? Any suspected locations in OH? 3. I don't have anything on your John T Kirk b 1880. I am interested to hear that other families moved from Morgan Co OH to Boone Co IN, do you have any more info about the group that made this move? My John Kirk & wife Louisa were in Boone Co IN by 1870 along with brothers Isaac & Elisha E Kirk. I assume they were all living in Ohio though I have not been able to find them in the 1860 or 1850 census. John Kirk's sister Caroline Kirk married George Haworth and were in Boone Co IN by 1870 also. Any connections? If you have the names of any other families that moved from Morgan Co OH to Boone Co IN close to this time I would like to see them. I suspect John Kirk and his brothers may have been living with some other family during the 1850 and or 1860 census since I can't find them in either census.
