Judith, I'm going to jump in on this thread and switch subjects. Do your Brannens include Harry or Jacob J? I have the following connection but haven't worked on the Brannen family otherwise. If you are interested in my Noah family-let me know. Harry Arthur Brannen born 23 Apr 1883 in Bartholomew County In died 14 Apr 1931 In Bartholomew Co. IN Spouse Martha (Mattie) Ann Noah born 28 Jun 1893 died 15 April 1931 They were married 5 Aug 1912. Harry hung himself in the barn 3 1/2 hours before his wife died. My mother said this family was never talked about, so not sure what all happened except for the obit information. Harry's father was Jacob J. Brannen and I have siblings as Glenn, Opal, Hazel and Delores. Mattie was the daughter of William R. Noah and my great grandfather Edward Robert Noah was her brother.
