My gr-great grandfather, John L. Flanigan, owned a funeral home in Columbus until his retirement to Florida. I have a portrait of him taken when he was a successful businessman. However, he was born in 1815 and died by 1881. "My" John L. was married three times that I know of, but none of them match the name you present: Margaret Conner, 1840 (my gr-great grandmother) Mary Mounts, 1854 Malissa Dunn, 1869 Perhaps your John is a descendant or nephew? I don't know. I have only one other John Flanigan from Indiana, and he was born 1862 and died young.
