She was the daughter of Elias D. Sims,b:1802VA. and Sophia Cheek.Also her brother, James & Thomas are found in Bartholomew Co.In.,1860. This Sims family was from Culpeper,Va. Mary Emily,M1:A.J.Coats and M2:Frederick McGee. I believe your Obediah is from the same Sims family. If you go to LDS and put in Sims, you will find much information on this family. It goes back many generations. I found my Elias back 5 generations there. Good Luck.
