Olive Cemetery is in Harrison Twp., Bartholomew Co. It lies adjacent to the Camp Atterbury property, but was NOT moved during camp development. Directions: from Columbus, take St. Rd. 46 west to county road 500W. Turn right, go 1.4 miles north to Georgetown Road. Turn left, go 1.6 miles west to Mt. Olive Methodist Church, at 10530 W. Georgetown Road, Columbus, IN 47201. There are several Whittington graves. The oldest marked are Rev. Francis L. Whittington, 1842-1912, and his wife Mary, 1842-1927.
