The town is located east of Columbus on Indiana State Road 46. Newbern is an exceptionally small town with only one street, running parallel to S.R. 46. The cemetery is located on this street on the east side of town, on the top of the hill, just before the street runs back into S.R. 46. It is extremely well-kept but I'm not sure if it is still actively being used. I live only a few miles from it and have relatives buried there; been there a few times as well.
