I did check genealogy.com and found a family page for Genealogy of Owens and Hale families of Scott Co., Virginia that lists the Descendants of Lewis Martin Owens. This provides detailed information including biographical information on Lewis Martin Owens. I could find no connection to the line of Nathaniel Owens. Also under the family trees section of ancestry.com Lewis Martin Owens is listed along with James Thomas Owens and his wife. This source spells her name as Louise J. Himes. Although neither of these sites provide information on the parents of Lewis Martin Owens, the ancestry.com site connects his wife through Nancy Jane Owens to a Bartholomew Owen. I previously checked this line out and found no connection to the line of Nathaniel Owens. Hope this help! s.
