Surnames: Parker, Leach Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lh.2ADE/2212 Message Board Post: Esther Ann Parker married Reuben Leach in Bartholomew county, Indiana on Sept. 27, 1850. It appears that she was married to a Parker before she married Reuben Leach, as she already had 3 children in her home when the 1850 Federal Census was done. The children were Catherine, age 9, Maranda(?), age 5, and another girl, age 14, whose name I could not make out. Do you know what Esther Ann's maiden name was and who her parents were? It appears that she was widowed or divorced from the Parker by around 1845. When the 1870 Federal Census was taken, she was living in Sullivan county, Indiana and her name was listed as Hester A. Any help concerning her and her lineage will be very much appreciated.
