Conn appears in Wayne Twp., Jonesville P.O. Bartholomew Co. in the 1870 federal census. Age 54. Farmer. Born KY. His wife is Susan (age 58?) b. KY and son John (age 12) b. IA? Penelope married her husband Matthew F. Woessner in Jonesville. In the 1850 census, there is a Dow Con in Hamilton Twp., Jackson Co., IN age 33 b. VA, wife Susan age 34 b. KY and children Deliah, 14, Charlott 12, Pneope 3, and Simon 1 (all born in IN). Penelope was born in Jackson Co., IN. A Lorenzo Dow Conn married a Susan Moore 1 April 1836 in Jackson Co Indiana.
