Donna, while I am researching what I think are KEIL'S, I have also seen it as KEEL, KEAL & KIEL so at this time will ask if you have a Nancy who married a James WAUGHTEL aka WAUGHTELL and sometimes taken for WACHTEL. I have a picture of them on my website, Nancy was born circa 1815 in Pennsylvania and came to Indiana as an infant down the Ohio on a flatboat with her parents/family and they settled on the Indiana side opposite Carrollton, Kentucky. This was in a newspaper write-up of Nancy. She died in 1910 in Jennings County, Indiana and James died Jennings County, Indiana 1906 being born 1810 in Virginia. They married in Jefferson County, Indiana if I remember right. I know nothing of her parents, possibly a sister Alla since she was in the 1850 census with James & Nancy age 16 but no relationship given.
