He married Salome Everroad/Ueberoth 19 July 1827, probably in Lehigh Co. or Northhampton Co. PA. Salome b. 30 Mary. 1806 Lehigh Co. PA (says so on her stone); d. 17 Dec. 1876 at Hope, buried 19th. She had TB. Their son William Christian Woehler was b. 10 Dec. 1837 at Hope, died 26 Mar. 1881 at Hope (not 24th as I said earlier.) He married 14 Apr. 1870 Shelby Co., Indiana, to Alice Payne, daughter of William Payne and Hannah Peters. Alice was born 11 May 1849 at Indianapolis (says THAT on her stone too!), died of TB, 13 Aug. 1877, buried at Hope. The two children, Katie May and William Hile, were baptised together on 2 Sept. 1871, although neither of the parents were church members at that time. Here it gets a little curious: Katie May was born 24 May 1869. Um.....before William and Alice were married. Assuming the marriage date is correct--I did not verify that. William Hile Woehler was born 7 June 1871, at Hope. In 1874, Alice reconsidered her spiritual status, and joined the church. She was baptised 1 Mar. 1874. This baptism record lists her as born 11 May 1849, daughter of William Payne. Katie m. William Herman Rights 18 Nov. 1891 & went to Denver by 1920.
