I noticed in your posting that you had George and Nancy Jane Phillips Pottorff marrying in Hagerstown, MD. I have them marrying in Wilmore, Jefferson Co., KY. I received this info from someone else and don't have the documentation for the marriage. Do you have documentation on the Hagerstown, MD marriage? I have 24 APR 1802 like you but differ in the place of marriage. Also, do you have any information on Nancy Jane Phillips parents and siblings? I have her father listed as John but don't have mothers name. I have Nancy Cordelia Pottorff (the above's dau.) was born 22 JAN 1821 in Clark Co., IN and she died aft. 1850 in Clark Co., IN. She married Lewis PURVIS 25 NOV 1837 in Bartholomew Co., IN. You have their marriage as 26 NOV 1837, again I don't have documentation on this marriage date. Could have got license on 25th and actually married on 26th? If you have documentation on the correct marriage date for them, could you also let me know the source.
