Mine is a different line. I am working on the genealogy of Vaughn MONROE (singer, actor, orchestra leader) for his descendants, and Luther Berton (Albert) MONROE (1st cousin of John), who is supposed to be a 1st cousin of Vaughn. I, and Luther's granddaughter Claudia, have not been able to find the connection to Vaughn yet. I figure that, if we keep searching though, we will find the connection. Luther looks like he's related to Vaughn - same nose, etc. Thanks for your interest and the info you gave on John & family.
