Cox such as his known birth year/place of origin, where he lived? There are several unrelated Cox families in Bartholomew Co. none of which have a Canadian connection to my knowledge, up to the 1860's. There were two Daniel Coxes in my line, one born about 1800 in Ohio who came to Bartholomew Co. in the 1850's and the other was born about 1840 in Indiana, named Daniel Sherman Cox.
