Listers, I am interested in tracking down more information on an Edward V. Harbin who got land in the county c1840. Could anyone tell me where S34T9R4 would have been? I do not know if he was the elderly father or a son by the same name and would appreciate any information from other records about him. He was in Washington Co, on the 1820 census and in Columbus in 1840 aged 70-80 but I am inclined to think it was a son buying the land in 1837 & 1840 . Do you have a death index for the 1840's?
